Hole 3 is a difficult Par 5 hole where precision is the key to a good score.

For the non-far-sighted, there is enough space in the landing area for the drive, but a skewed drive is punished anyway, as the corridor for the 2nd stroke is greatly reduced if one is not in the middle of the fairway. The longest striking ones, in turn, land on a narrow stretch with forest on the right and OOB on the left.

The first half of the hole slopes to the right, so it makes sense for many to keep the drive on the left side close to the piles, to get the most length.

A good and long 2nd blow through the winding piece of wood gets you free of the problems and the hole opens up giving more room for 3rd blow, but 4 more bunkers as well as a small cluster of trees protect the hole from those who have gone astray on the way down.

A good score here and you have got off to a good start with your round ..
